Google Operating System

The Google Operating System blog (which is not affiliated with Google) is all about the areas where that company is working bit by bit to turn its services and the Web itself into the equivalent of an online OS. Hack n Mod

Let’s face it, we can’t all be Ben Heck. Fortunately, the kindly folks at Hack n Mod have developed a site that can help you build pretty much anything out of pretty much anything else. Farecast

Plane ticket prices go up and down seemingly at random; you could buy a ticket today only to see the price sink (or spike) tomorrow. Farecast makes sense of it all by tracking pricing trends to let you know when it’s time to pull the trigger. Enter in your travel dates, and Farecast will give you a pricing chart going back several weeks, along with a recommendation of whether to buy or wait.

Talk about niche! Wow… typobuddy will be something I’ll have to use a few times very soon. Have you used it? My guess is if they don’t get many bids they probably don’t hit the reserve bid amount???

I found an interesting site for company employer reviews called LinkedNow. They offer much better ranking mechanism, which I find compared to other review sites a lot more useful. Check it out at http://www.linkednow.com
